Ng Shi Chen (Associate)
Shi Chen graduated from the Faculty of Law of Multimedia University, Malaysia, with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree. He subsequently obtained his legal qualification in Malaysia and was formally admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in April 2026.
During his pupillage at the firm, Shi Chen assisted the partners in handling a wide range of legal matters, including client meetings and court proceedings, through which he gained solid practical legal experience. Through his exposure to general civil litigation and construction arbitration matters, he developed strong analytical abilities and strategic legal thinking. He also assisted the firm’s senior associates in conducting legal due diligence exercises for Chinese clients undertaking business and investment activities in Malaysia.
Shi Chen has accompanied and assisted Chinese clients in liaising with the police, providing criminal law advice and following up on the progress of related matters. In addition, he has been involved in the work of the National Legal Aid Foundation, where he focused on providing criminal legal advice and legal aid services across various stages of criminal proceedings, including arrest, remand, bail applications, and trial proceedings.
Outside of his legal practice, Shi Chen enjoys cycling and watching movies.
