Muhammad Anwar (Associate)
Anwar graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.(Hons)) from the International Islamic University of Malaysia in 2024. In 2025, he completed his pupillage at RWC under the tutelage of Mr. Darren Lai and was subsequently admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in July 2025.
Throughout his pupillage, Anwar has gained hands-on experience in various areas of law, including sports law, general civil litigation, and employment law. He has assisted in civil litigation matters such as drafting pleadings, affidavits, and submissions. Anwar has also been involved in cases related to sports law, employment disputes, and industrial property law, showcasing his versatility and dedication to the legal profession.
Anwar’s experience extends to conducting legal research on esport and arbitration matters, attending court hearings, case management, and initiating arbitration proceedings. He collaborates closely with senior associates in preparing for trials and providing client consultations. His contributions include supporting research projects related to sports law, fintech law, and company voluntary winding up.
Beyond his legal career, Anwar enjoys reading thriller novels and going to the beach, balancing his professional life with his personal interests.
