Liew Shi Yi (Senior Associate)
Shi Yi commenced her pupillage with Messrs Hoe & Moira where she was exposed to varied range of real estate practice which includes project cases, subsale cases, conventional and Islamic finance documents, tenancy and non-contentious matters. She was called to the Malaysian Bar on 11 July 2019.
Seeking to expand her legal expertise, Shi Yi then joined Desmond Ho & Associates as a Legal Associate, focusing on civil litigation. She has since broadened her practice to include a wide array of legal areas such as debt recovery, accident claims, employment law, contract law, probate and administration, conveyancing, as well as corporate drafting and advisory.
A diligent and meticulous professional, Shi Yi is an invaluable member of the team, consistently proving her ability to quickly learn and adapt to different legal fields. Her versatility and competence make her a capable and essential addition to the firm’s growing practice.
In 2022, Shi Yi further expanded her legal experience by serving on the International Malaysia Law Conference Committee. Working closely with senior members, she contributed to organizing a highly successful virtual law conference at the international level.
