Farah Aqila Mustafa (Associate)
Aqila graduated with a Bachelor of Law (Honours) from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) in March 2021. She commenced her pupilage in one of the established and highly regarded firm in Malaysia and subsequently admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in March 2022.
Her primary interest lies in employment law where she has dealt with a wide range of employment issues, including unfair and wrongful dismissal such as retrenchment, poor performance, forced resignation and constructive dismissal. She advised and represented an airline company and a government-linked body as co-counsel at the Industrial Court of Malaysia.
Aqila also has experience in dealing with a leading insurance company, defending various types of insurance claims including contract disputes and bodily injury claims. Additionally, she was involved in a class action lawsuit against a property developer’s company in Malaysia for specific performance, rescission of contract and claims for damages.
She joined RWC in July 2024, where she is currently engaged in handling litigation and dispute resolution matters. She is also undergoing training for corporate law matters, having developed a strong interest in this field and pursuing it further.
Apart from volunteering, Aqila enjoys travelling, hiking and yoga.

- Represented a leading insurance company to defend insurance claims including contract disputes and bodily injury claims
- Assisted with a class action lawsuit against a developer company for specific performance, rescission of contract and damages
- Drafted a relevant cause paper pertaining to employment tribunal matters
- Drafted a relevant cause paper for an application of consolidation, joinder, striking out JID, striking out under O18 r19, summary judgement, discovery of documents and amendment of pleadings.
