Desiree Teh (Partner)
Desiree was called to the Malaysian Bar on May 26, 2016, after completing her chambering with Messrs. Fatima Tan & Cheah and Messrs. Desmond Ho & Associates. During her time with Desmond Ho & Associates, Desiree gained invaluable legal experience under the mentorship of Desmond Ho, which significantly shaped her professional development. Following her admission to the Bar, Desiree returned to the firm as a Legal Associate and later progressed to become a Partner in 2022. She is currently a Partner at Messrs. Richard Wee Chambers, where she continues to expand her practice.
Desiree’s leadership extends beyond her legal practice. She is currently the Chairperson of the Court Liaison Sub-Committee in the Malacca Bar, where she plays a key role in fostering collaboration between the Member of the Malacca Bar and the judiciary.
She has active involvement in the Malacca Bar Court Liaison Sub-Committee (2020-2022 and 2024 – 2025), Malacca Bar Social, Charity and Welfare Sub-Committee (2018-2019 and 2023 – 2024) and as the Malacca Bar Secretary (2017 – 2018).
She also serves on the Legal Advisory Team of the Youth Circle of Arts (YCA).
Her passion in law has seen her deliver a talk at Sincere Qian Hai’s law office in ShenZhen, China concerning the legal system in Malaysia in 2019 and several talks on debt recovery, showcasing her expertise in the area.
