On 8 November 2019, RWC was invited to speak at the “Income Tax, Audit and Company Reg for Esports” talk hosted by Benny Teh and Ipohnex at The Pantheon. RWC’s Bryan Boo shared with the attendees the different business vehicles that are available to esports businesses and organisations as well as a brief introduction to income tax for esports.
Co-speaking with professionals from taxation and accounting, it is encouraging to see esports in Malaysia become more professional and that businesses and companies in esports are starting to gravitate towards a proper and structured business setup. RWC is honoured to have been a part of this growth in Malaysian esports.
