Nominated in 7 categories for the Firm, and 2 Individual categories, RWC takes home the Sports Law Award at the recent ALB Annual Malaysia Law Award 2021.
Thomson Reuter’s Asian Legal Business (ALB) holds an Annual Malaysia Law Awards. At the recent 2021 edition, Richard Wee Chambers (RWC) is honoured to receive nominations for the following categories:-

- Litigation Law Firm of the Year
- Rising Law Firm of the Year
- Sports Law Firm of the Year
- Transactional Boutique Law Firm of the Year
- West Malaysia Law Firm of the Year
- Managing Partner of the Year – Richard Wee
- Young Lawyer of the Year (Law Firm) – Marlysa Razak
RWC is particularly delighted to receive the Sports Law Firm of the Year Award 2021. This is the 2nd consecutive year that RWC is receiving this.
The firm wishes to thank the panel of judges of the Award, who had kindly voted for RWC to receive the same. Many thanks also to ALB for organising this ceremony.
We dedicate this award to the Clients and the Community for your support in this difficult and challenging time. This award is certainly a morale booster for the Firm.
When interviewed by RWC Web Reporter, our Managing Partner Richard Wee echoed the comments above and added his acknowledgement of the fellow nominees in all the categories that RWC was nominated for. He congratulated the firms, lawyers and in-house legal teams who received their respective awards, and also said:-
