Lesley Lim (Partner)

Lesley Lim graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of Tasmania, Australia in 2009 and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2011 after completing her Certificate in Legal Practice in 2010. Lesley has been working with Richard Wee since 2012 and is now a Partner at RWC.

Over and above her practice and experience in general civil litigation matters, corporate and commercial disputes, debt recovery, construction and employment matters, Lesley has a strong interest in developing the area of Sports Law in Malaysia. She believes that the ever-growing interaction between sports and the law gives rise to the need for a special and greater understanding of the sports industry and those related to it.

At her former firm of MahWengKwai & Associates, Lesley played an instrumental part to assist the Sports Law Practice group winning the ALB Sports Law Firm of the Year Award 2018 & 2019. Lesley completed the Certificate for Sports Arbitration by the AIAC in 2016. She was part of the organising committee for the first specialised Sports Law Conference in Malaysia (2013-2016) and was also a founding member of the Sports Law Association of Malaysia (SLAM).

In 2019, FIFA and Football Association of Malaysia appointed Lesley to the National Disputes Resolution Chambers (NDRC).
