On 21 and 22 September 2019, Marlysa Razak attended the ZafigoX 2019 – an event organised specifically for women travellers who wish to venture more into travelling and learn how to live that nomad lives. Marlysa had the pleasure and honour to meet so many inspiring women from different countries and backgrounds with one common interest and passion – travel. The event was well-organised by Zafigo, founded by Datin Paduka Marina Mahathir, and featured inspiring guests speakers including Deborah Henry who is the Founder of Fugee School, Nila Tanzil from Indonesia who is the Founder of the non-profit organisation Taman Bacaan Pelangi that has built over a hundred libraries in the rural areas in Indonesia and a line-up of successful women in Air Asia. It was truly an awe-inspiring experience attending a women-empowering event such as this, discussing on upcoming and new exciting things for women travellers.
