The Asian Sports Arbitration Rules (“the Rules”) were cultivated in tandem with the spirit of the utilisation of Alternative Dispute Resolution (“ADR”) mechanisms to resolve disputes within the realm of sports. The inherent advantages of ADR form the bedrock upon which the Rules are drafted, with a primary focus on expediting proceedings while minimising disruptions, all the while ensuring the cruciality of in-depth and precise sports law dispositions.
Richard Wee Chambers is pleased and welcomes the inception of the Rules and takes pride in contributing towards the drafting of the Rules.
